Kokedama Class

Learn the Art of Kokedama!

Get a little messy and learn a new skill with us as you try your hand at the art of Kokedama. An ancient form of Japanese gardening that dates back to 1600 AD, Kokedama is a style of bonsai cultivation, where plant roots are wrapped with soil and moss.

Join us in Houston and Austin while we create lush green orbs of moss wrapped around assorted ferns of your choosing. We’ll take you step-by-step through the process on how to prepare the soil, form the ball shape, and securely wrap the moss around your plant. You’ll leave the class with a trio of your own handmade Kokedama nestled on a fluted zinc tray, ready to display in your home.
