The Art of Mediterranean Living: From Garden to Table
Join us at Thompson + Hanson for a hands-on Garden to Table Herb Workshop in collaboration with Fully Mediterranean. In celebration of Mediterranean Month this May, this immersive experience invites guests to explore the art of cooking with fresh herbs, starting in the garden and ending at the table.
Guests will begin by selecting and planting their own herb to take home, guided by our team. From there, Pam Fullenweider from Fully Mediterranean will lead an engaging discussion on the benefits of cooking with fresh herbs, from their role in the Mediterranean diet to how they elevate flavor naturally without added fats or salt.
The class will continue with a live cooking demonstration, showcasing how to layer herbs throughout the cooking process to build depth and balance. Guests will enjoy a tasting of an herb-forward recipe that will inspire confident, flavorful cooking at home.
We’ll wrap up with practical tips on storing and using fresh herbs, along with recipes to take home. Guests are invited to stay, sip, and mingle as they enjoy the flavors of the Mediterranean and connect with fellow attendees. We hope to see you there!
